Lomberk Laboratory Epigenomics Discovery & Therapeutics

Welcome to the Lomberk Laboratory!

Our lab investigates how epigenomic regulators, including chromatin-modifying enzymes and remodeling complexes, control gene expression programs downstream of oncogenic signaling, shape DNA damage responses, and drive disease progression, with particular interest in pancreatic cancer. By employing cellular and molecular biology techniques, our work remains at the forefront of cancer and inflammatory disease biology directly supporting novel therapeutic discovery.

We are always interested in collaborative opportunities across disciplines, and welcome inquiries from researchers and clinicians. Please feel free to reach out to Dr. Gwen Lomberk to explore potential partnerships.

Our Projects

Our Projects

To understand how we can better target pancreatic cancer, we need to look beyond the DNA sequence itself and consider how the genome is regulated at a higher level. This brings us to epigenomics.

Our Team

Our Team

Our interdisciplinary team works collaboratively across epigenetics, cellular and molecular biology, and computational biochemistry to inform and accelerate targeting strategies across various diseases.
